The Road to Croker starts here!

In the All-Ireland football final of 1978, there was a special piece of magic from Kerry's Mikey Sheehy at a crucial time in the match against Dublin.

Was a Kerry player fouled or not fouled by Paddy Cullen after the Dublin goalkeeper cleared his line with a short pass to a Dublin colleague?

To this day the Dublin star still can't see why a free was awarded against him, but referee Seamus Aldridge remains adamant that a foul was committed.

But who could forget the moment as Paddy Cullen ran back towards his goal only to see the ball lobbed over his head into the net by Mikey Sheehy from the free kick.

According to Mick O'Dwyer, it was the goal that changed the history of Kerry football.
